ABOUT ME

My name is Kate Souza and I am the founder and owner of Project Clutter. When I think back to my younger self, I can honestly say I never dreamed I would become an entrepreneur, let alone starting several businesses over the past 22 years. To someone on the outside it may seem like a leap to see the common thread between these endeavors, but those who know my story see it as a natural confluence of my life experiences. At the core of my journey is a genuine desire to serve others. Years ago, I was a client of a professional organizer while living in Lacey, Washington. This was several years before it became my vocation. Having moved 26 times personally, I eventually embraced the role of a move manager. The inception of Project Clutter stemmed from my own personal challenges and transitions, allowing me to combine my skills with my passion for helping others move forward.

I know first hand what it feels like to be overwhelmed physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally. I know what it feels like to be paralyzed and to not know where to start. I also understand the process of walking this 3,000 mile journey through the hills and valleys and boring through the bedrock of what feels like an impassable mountain. I share all of this so potential clients understand that this is more than a business, it is my passion and my hearts desire to help others by leading, encouraging and equipping them as they embarking on their own season of transition, transformation and restoration.

In 2024 The Project Clutter Family made some big personal and professional changes. We made our own cross country move from California to the beautiful state of North Carolina to be closer to our adult children and their growing families.

Starting in 2025 my service offerings are evolving into a hybrid service that will help me to serve more people through coaching, consulting, workshops and curriculum as well as kinetic service on site with customers.
